Heart of the Dragon Cocktail
A visually striking and decadent cocktail featuring Irish whiskey, honey liqueur, and a frothy layer of egg white, topped with red wine for a dramatic presentation. The drink balances sweet, citrusy, and boozy notes, perfect for impressing guests or enjoying a special evening.
Ingredients
- 45 ml Irish whiskey
- 30 ml Honey Liqueur
- 30 ml Orange Juice
- 15 ml Simple syrup
- 1 Egg white
- 30 ml Red dry wine
Instructions
- In a shaker, combine the whiskey, mead liqueur, orange juice, simple syrup, and egg white.
- Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until the mixture becomes frothy.
- Add a few ice cubes to the shaker and shake again for an additional 15 seconds to chill the mixture.
- Strain the cocktail into a glass, ensuring that all the froth is poured in as well.
- Hold a spoon close to the surface of the drink and slowly pour the red wine over the back of the spoon, allowing it to float on top of the cocktail.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the layered presentation!
